The Jury passionately reviewed the entries before making their final nominations and after eight weeks of voting honored 84 title awards in 28 categories. The Awards could not have asked for a better group of professionals to work with.
 
The 5th Annual Photo Show was attended by 35,000 online viewers who logged on live from 154 countries to see the winners and nominees. This is the biggest audience to date for the Spider Awards and its participating photographers.

Screenworld is a group exhibition on contemporary photography realized by the Antwerp PhotoMuseum in cooperation with the Flemish Parliament. The accompanying catalogue is published by Lannoo. Photolimits is represented in this exhibition with photographic work of Isabelle Pateer, Rronny Smedts, Franky Verdickt and Danny Veys.

The series on Myanmar by RRonny Smedts has been published in the summer issue of the magazine of the Saint Lukas Gallery Brussels.

Ronny Smedts supports the Help Myanmar-initiative of Antwerp physicians and nurses who are preparing for a medical-humanitarian mission to Myanmar. They will provide basic health care and start up a vaccination programme. You can support the mission with donations. More info on: www.helpmyanmar.be

RRonny Smedts is one of the very few foreign photographers who was in Myanmar when the cyclone Nargis devastated the Irrawaddy Delta on May 3th.

With his series 'surviving in the city' Franky Verdickt won the Belgian Dexia Press Award on May 9th in Brussels. In this series he focuses on a homeless man surviving in the European Quarter of Brussels.

Bernard Onderdonck travelled to the region of Patzcuaro, Mexico, to continue his series on religion. Photographs of the Semana Santa, the week before Easter in which the last days of Jesus's life are celebrated, are now online.

'Pushkar ka Mela' is the world's largest camel fair, annually organised in the holy city of Pushkar. This fair, where cows and horses are sold as well, attracts thousands of camel drivers and traders from all over India.

From 15.1.2008 till 15.2.2008 the Photolimits photographers show their work in a new exhibition in the City Hall of Terneuzen, Oostelijk Bolwerk 4, Terneuzen, The Netherlands.

From 25.9.2007 till 15.10.2007 the Photolimits platform will present itself, its work and photographers with an exhibition in the Main Hall of the Antwerp Central Station.

In may 2007 RRonny Smedts travelled to Laos for a cooperation project between Handicap International and Photolimits focussing on the victims of cluster munition.
